The Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City has several fundraising events yearly. These events are essential to funding programs, scholarships, and financial assistance support. But they’re not just fundraisers. They are perfect opportunities to gather and have a great time with community members. Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City Youth Events
Trunk or Treat
Back by popular demand, the Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City is sponsoring a Trunk or Treat for the Club kids and local children in the area on October 31 from 4:30-6:30 in the Club’s Parking Lot. We would love to invite you to participate if you can. You can decorate the trunk of your car in Halloween-themed decor and pass out candy and other goodies to the children. We are expecting between 500-650 kids. Set up starts at 3:00, and the event will run from 4:30-6:30. If you cannot attend but would like to participate, we are also accepting candy donations. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun! There are limited parking spots, so please let us know.

Festival of Thanks
One of the most notable events for the kids each year is our annual “Festival of Thanks.” Our outstanding Board of Directors, Staff, Volunteers, and Friends Of BGCCC prepare our annual Thanksgiving lunch for our members. Our kids then spend time acknowledging what they are thankful for. Come on out and enjoy some turkey and stuffing with our fantastic youth.

Holiday Toy Giveaway
Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City presents our annual Toy, Books & Bikes Giveaway in the Club gymnasium.
Last year, we had a joyful time this Christmas, passing out toys to kids in our community at our Winter Wonderland Toy Giveaway 2024. We continually thank all our partners and sponsors for this annual event. This year, over 600 kids received toys, clothing, and shoes, a testament to the impact we can make when we come together as a community.
Our goal every holiday season is to spread a spark of joy to kids in our community.

Spring Egg Hunt
The Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City’s Egg Hunt is a sight. Our members search high and low for eggs all over the Club facilities. Thanks to donations of lots of plastic eggs and goodies to fill them, Club Members had fun searching outside the Clubhouse for their treats. The most fantastic prizes were extra special golden eggs, and the members had so much fun while hunting.
